Patrick F. Dunn, Ph.D., P.E., is a professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering at the University of Notre Dame, where he has been a faculty member since 1985. Prior to 1985, he was a mechanical engineer at Argonne National Laboratory from 1976 to 1985 and a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University from 1974 to 1976. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from Purdue University (1970, 1971 and 1974).
