Dunn, Douglas

Douglas Dunn was born and brought up in Inchinnan in Renfrewshire. He has published nine collections of poems, including 'Elegies', which won the Whitbread Book of the Year Award, and most recently, 'Dante's Drum-Kit'. He has published two collections of short stories, 'Secret Villages' and
'Boyfriends and Girlfriends', and edited 'The Faber Book of Twentieth-Century Scottish Poetry' and 'Scotland: An Anthology'. He is Professor of English at the University of St Andrews, and Director of the St Andrews Scottish Studies Institute.
