Deb Duffin was born and still lives in St. Louis, but the Florida beach has always felt like home. She grew up in a family where sarcasm was a second language, and the ability to tell a funny story was revered. She has compiled a long resume that is almost entirely useless, practiced law for a while, helped found a tiny theatre company, and watched decades of television. Obviously, the logical next step was to grind all that experience into crime novels. Mismanaged Care is the first of a series, and the next installment, Maternal Instincts, is expected to be released in 2015.
