I grew up near Glasgow, Scotland and lived there with my family through World War II. I was admittedly the youngest and sassiest of four children. One of my fondest memories as a child was that every evening my father would read to Anne, my sister and I. In fact, I grew up listening to Aesop's Fables, a favorite book in our home. After I married, I came to America where I had three children of my own and have been living here since.
