Col Dennis M. Drew, USAF, retired, is professor of military strategy, theory, and doctrine and associate dean of the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies at Air University, Maxwell AFB, Alabama. While at Air University he has also served as the director of the Airpower Research Institute and on the faculty of the Air Command and Staff College.
