Downey, Connie

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan I am the middle child of five. Moved to Fife Lake, Michigan in December of 1980. I love animals, music, small crafts and gardening indoors and out. Writing is really more of a passion than a hobby. It has always been a way for me to express myself in many different situations throughout my lifetime. It helps me to relate to family, friends and sometimes even strangers.

Poetry seems to bring out a passion in people that might not otherwise surface. Much like music it becomes a universal language that all cultures can relate to. Many of these poems
