Douglas, Peter

Born in Reading in 1945, the author came to live by the sea on the south coast, when his father, a serving police officer, transferred there. Educated at the local grammar school, he was apprenticed as a printer, a trade in which he spent twenty years. He has been a taxi driver for the last thirty years.
