Helen and Clive Dorman are creators of the Children's Project, an organization dedicated to producing goods to support the pre-school family. With the full cooperation of Jane Goodall and the Jane Goodall Institute, the Dormans have produced the Okomi children's book series. The Okomi stories are developed from Jane Goodall's observations of chimpanzee behavior. As shown in these books, the chimpanzee mother/infant relationship is virtually identical to that of its human counterpart.
