Marnie Doble is an English writer of East Prussian heritage. Her writing stems mainly from life experience, and includes award-winning poetry, short stories and magazine articles. In 2014 she was presented with an award from Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity, for her short story 'A trip on the canal'. Marnie divides her time between a remote cottage on the Somerset Levels in the south-west of England, and Prescott, Arizona.
