Djang, Chu

Djang was born in China. He was educated at the University of Michigan and Johns Hopkins University. Upon returning to China, he participated in teh Sino-Japanese war efforts. He returned to the U.S. and succeeded in passing an examination for translators given by the United Nations, where he stayed for 21 years. Following retirement at age 60 he obtained a teaching position at the St. John's University in Queens, NY.
