Dixon grew up in Botswana, Africa, on a small island called "Xaxaba"--an untouched wilderness area in the Okavango Delta--a region famous for its great herds of wild animals and magnificent bird life. From the age of six he attended boarding schools in Zimbabwe; and during his summer vacations he worked as a guide, often taking American tourists on Safari. After graduating from University, he worked as a Barrister in Africa and later moved to America where he became an attorney in a national firm.
