DiStefano, E. J.

DiStefano is a former conservative politician, and "gay basher" turned writer and social activist. He has had numerous articles published on the topic of homosexuality and religion. He is a former Deacon in the Presbyterian Church and converted to Catholicism in 1997. He became a Christian Brother in the Franciscan Third Order of the Catholic Church and then was asked to leave because he protested the Catholic Church's position on homosexuality.
