Nita DeWeese is an avid reader and writer of fiction. A grandmother of sixteen, a growing number of great grandchildren, she lives in South West Florida at Shell Point Retirement Community. She writes quirky short stories and short shorts, known as fast fiction. She is an active member of the Gulf Coast Writer's Association, Inc. where she won second place for fiction in their 2010 Writing Contest.
