Joel is the Eminent Fisher Scholoa at the Fisher School of Business at the University of Florida, where he has been since 1994. Prior to that, Joel was on the faculty at Yale, Stanford, and the University of Chicago. He has been on the editorial board fo the mafor three Accounting Journals and is considered by many to be one of the foremost accounting scholars in the world.
