Dehlavi, Karla

Karla Dehlavi was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1991. At an early age, she began receiving recognition by her teachers for her various pieces of writing, ranging from short stories and plays, to poetry. At nine years old, she was featured for her writing in the LA Times' "101 Remarkable Young People" special. She has since traveled to various countries and currently resides in Barcelona, Spain, where she is working on publishing her work in Spanish. Currently, she has two more poetry collections published in English, titled Tripping Over Flowers and Moons, respectively.
