Nikki Dee believes she was born knowing how to read, and once started simply didn't stop. She reads for pleasure, education, inspiration and occasionally to garner gossip from the gutter. Nikki's fondest memory is of the day her father gave her her own library ticket and, along with it, the freedom to read what she wanted. She began with the Famous Five and swore if she ever had a dog he would be called Timmy.
