Dearle, Anne Crofton

Anne Crofton Dearle is best known for her many adventure stories for children. She ventured into fiction for adults with he novella "A Cottage in Shottery" and now, inspired by her interest in the wartime occupation of the Channel Islands, she has transferred the experiences of those islanders to her own homeland - the Isle of Wight.
