Deak, Istvan

Istvan Deak is Seth Lowe Professor Emeritus of History and special lecturer at Columbia University. Among his many works are "The Lawful Revolution: Louis Kossuth and the Hungarians, 1848-1849" and "Beyond Nationalism: A Social and Political History of the Habsburg Officer Corps, 1848-1918."
