Norma DeShields attended Columbia College of Chicago, majoring in Art, Entertainment and Media Management. She has been in the Music business for over twenty years. But in the summer of 1994 her life was forever changed when her only child, Brian Christopher was murdered. After seeking direction and understanding from God on "Why" and "What do I do now," Norma took her journal and conversations with God through His Word, and turned it into a devotional entitled "Joy Comes This Morning."
