Marjorie DeLuca spent her childhood in the beautiful and ancient cathedral city of Durham in North-Eastern England. After graduating University of London, she immigrated to Canada where she lives with her husband and two children. She spent much of her professional life as a teacher, specializing in English Literature and Creative Writing. She studied Advanced Creative Writing with her mentor, Pulitzer Prize winning author, Carol Shields.
