De Vries, Ranke

Ranke de Vries is a lecturer in Celtic Languages and Culture at Utrecht University. After obtaining her propedeutic diploma in Greek and Latin Languages and Culture from Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands, she obtained M.A. degrees in Celtic Languages and Culture and Medieval Studies from Utrecht University, the Netherlands. She then completed her Ph.D. degree, an edition of two texts relating to the origin of Lough Neagh, at Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Liam Breatnach and Damian McManus in 2007.
