Frank Daykin is a concert pianist, teacher, musicologist, and writer. The author of the acclaimed The Encyclopedia of French Art Song: Faure, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc (2013, Pendragon Press), he has published two previous volumes of poetry: Islands (1991, Silver Hill Press) and Words Without Songs (1992, Silver Hill Press). Numerous selections from those volumes have been set to music by contemporary American song composers.
