Virginia Dawson is the author of books and articles on the history of science, technology and local Cleveland history. Taming Liquid Hydrogen: The Centaur Upper State Rocket, 1958-2002, co-authored with Mark Bowles, won the 2004 AIAA History Manuscript Award presented for the best manuscript dealing with the science, technology, and/or the impact of aeronautics on society.
