Ronald E. Dawson has chosen compelling images to illustrate how El Pasoans moved around in the agood old days.a He has combined his lifelong interest in electric railroading with his background in researching the history of the Southwest. As the president of the Paso del Norte Streetcar Preservation Society and past board member of the Southwest Chapter of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society and the Railroad and Transportation Museum of El Paso, he is actively engaged in local transportation history.
