The Blue Hour is my second self-published book through Amazon's KDP and CreateSpace. My previous eight books were conventionally published. This is the dividing line in my career as an author. By self-publishing, I have been able to recapture the joy of releasing a book into the world after living inside the story for months, even years. The Blue Hour went through many drafts, and I never lost my affection for the town of Clearoak, the mysteries of Oak Hill, and the boy Joshua, who reached out his hand to the ghost no one wanted to talk about.
