Nicola Cortese was born in Montreal, Canada in 1961 to Italian– Irish parents. He began AFV modelling in the late-1990s and was instantly hooked. Nicola has previously written Modelling 7: Modelling the IS Heavy Tank. Sam Dwyer has been building plastic models for over 25 years, his first being a Matchbox 1/72-scale Lancaster Bomber he ‘ helped’ his father with at the tender age of 5.
