D. Kirk Davidson has spent his entire life in and around marketing. Born to a family of merchants in the Midwest, he earned his BA from Princeton and his MBA from Harvard. He then spent 12 years with RH Macy in a variety of marketing and management positions, and for the next 20 years, he served as chief executive officer of Mark Fenwick, Inc., a group of women s apparel stores in California.
