Nancy Fichtman Dana is Professor of Education and Director of the Center for School Improvement at the University of Florida. She began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in Hannibal Central Schools, New York, where she first served in the role of mentor teacher for pre-service students from State University of New York at Oswego.
