Oscar Dambrit was born in 1949 on a small farm near Toledo, Ohio. At the age of 18, he joined the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman (medic). Of his eleven years attached to the marines, Dambrit spent one tour in Vietnam and served during Grenada and Beirut. He later served as a combat medical instructor and later worked with civilian EMT units. Today as a disabled veteran, Oscar spends his time on the open road as a full time truck driver. In his spare time, Oscar works on his writing.
