In second grade, Paul J Creelman ("Vince" to his friends) was part of a journalism experiment when he was bitten by a radioactive Writing Bug. (Scribblus Scriptii.) Within days, young Creelman gained the ravenous insect's unquenchable desire to write, create and publish. He became, in effect, a human writing bug.
