Elizabeth da Silva Cardoso, PhD, received her PhD in Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997. She is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Foundations and Counseling Programs, Hunter College, City University of New York.
