Susan L. Cutter is Carolina Distinguished Professor of Geography at the University of South Carolina and Director of the Hazards and Vulnerability Research Institute. Her primary research interests are in the area of hazard vulnerability/resilience science. She has authored or edited 12 books and more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
