After surviving a stroke and experiencing several fainting episodes, Maxine Bigby Cunningham embraced a wholistic approach to getting back on her feet and learning to walk again. After nearly 30 years of public service with the federal government, Cunningham began a second career in management positions with grassroots nonprofit organizations.
