I grew up in Manchester and after marrying in 1970 we moved north to the Bury area of Lancashire where our son was born. After retiring as a Research Officer for Salford Museum and Heritage Service, my wife and I moved to North Yorkshire in 2007 before relocating to Warwickshire in 2010, where we are enjoying watching our grandsons growing up.
