B. Costa has spent her adult life as a seasoned educator, first in New Jersey and then in northern New Hampshire. She strives to incorporate her love of the outdoors into every endeavor. These have included earning a degree in Geology, teaching science at the secondary level, and most recently, starting a career in writing. Her first book was a children's picture book: The Six Colorful Annies. This was followed by a photo memoir: My Alaska Klondike Adventure Along the Chilkoot Trail.
