Cordrey, Joe

I was born on June 22, 1983, in the town of Kewanee, Illinois. As my youth progressed, I experienced approximately the same things as the average child. It wasn't until seventh grade that I discovered my talent for poetry. It then took a span of about ten years to refine my skill. I think the best material is accessible when one is able to freely express their mind, without limitations. Poetry, to me, is about building upon a single idea, until you are satisfied with the result. It matters not what the idea is, or what it leads to.
