Coombe, Eleanor

The Faraway Fairies are a successful children's series chosen as one of the top fifty books for Australians to read in 2009 by the Australian Government, from all the books in the world. Eleanor also writes as Dan Jerris for boys, and the series, Dragon Blood Pirates has been translated into Portuguese and Turkish. Eleanor's Arky Steele books are another set of books to her credit. She has a distinguished Alumni Award from Canberra University for her work with children's books and her success in the field of children's writing.
