Cooke, Daniel

Dr. Daniel Cooke serves as Professor and Chair of the Computer Science Department at Texas Tech University. He recently completed an 18-month assignment with NASA, as Manager of their Intelligent Systems Program where he helped develop a 5-year, $320M national research initiative. Dr. Cooke led the effort to establish the technical content of the program, took it from formulation to implementation, and established the program office, which he headed at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.
