Melissa Cook is a loving grandmother who enjoys cuddling up to read with her granddaughter, Anna. 'Anna and the Garden Fairy: Anna's Little Black Bear' was first written as a story for Anna alone. Once grandma's #1 fan gave such rave reviews, Melissa decided to share her story with other young children. After 15 years of bookkeeping, Melissa decided to turn to her true passion of writing and storytelling by bringing Anna's story to life.
