Author J.P. Ruiz is a father of four children, two beautiful girls and two wonderful boys.He is married to the most beautiful and gracious woman in the world, Esmeralda Ruiz (Emmy). Emmy also edits all of Ruiz's work. He is a disabled veteran of the Gulf War. Ruiz worked as a Law Enforcement officer for over ten years where he specialized in crimes against children.
