Conceicao, Washington Luiz Bastos

Washington Luiz Bastos Conceicao was born in Ponta Grossa, Parana, Brazil. He grew up in Sao Paulo, the city where he studied and got married. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the "Escola Politecnica da Universidade de Sao Paulo." After several years of activities in Engineering, he joined IBM in Sao Paulo. In 1970, after completion of the Project 3.7, he was transferred to the Company's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro. Since then, he has lived in this city.
