Author Biography: Elizabeth Schoberg became familiar with the effects of grief on a child when her only daughter was stillborn in 1972. Her 6 year old son withdrew from the family and his schoolmates as he struggled to understand why Mommy didn't bring the new baby home. After writing articles on her family's experience with their young son, Elizabeth was asked to contribute to a new book on coping with high risk pregnancy and caring for the preterm infant.
