Coker, Laurie

Laurie Coker is a native Texan who has lived in Austin most of her adult life where she currently resides. A graduate of Austin College, Sherman, Texas, she received a BA in Art in 1966. She has written poems and stories since childhood. She studied film acting with Charles Conrad in Los Angeles and with Dan Fauci and Van Brooks in Austin. She performs in film, commercials, voiceover and on the stage.
