Katherine Cobb (formerly Briganti) was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. She currently lives in West Virginia, where she and her husband have raised three sons. She has been a contributer for numerous publications throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Her award winning editorial column, "It Is What It Is," for The Journal won first place for Best Lifestyle Columnist by the West Virginia Press Association.
