Coats, Stephen D.

Dr. Stephen D. Coats is a professor of joint military operations and history at the US Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. A graduate of the US Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree, he earned a master's degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Kansas.
