Coats, Brian

A graduate of St. Andrews University, with a business degree from Brunel, Brian Coats worked for the Coats group's Thread Division for thirty years, spending most of his time in South America, but ending his career as a surprising number of his ancestors did, in the USA. When he left the company in 2004, he was the last Coats to ever work for them, marking an end to the family dynasty. This is his first book, but he has written several articles for newspapers and magazines, mostly about cinema, which is one of his great passions; the other is golf.
