Jamal started writing when he was nine years old. Inspired by rapper, producer and entrepreneur, Jay-Z, he is a lyricist and poet and loves how writing allows you to share your own message. Jamal writes lyrics that capture life's ups and downs. He feels most creative when he hears a song that moves him and is drawn to songs that are uplifting and inspirational. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his mom, sister, auntie and grandma and appreciates the stories of truth they have passed down to him.
