Growing up in Michigan in the 50's and 60's during the heyday of the automotive industry was really an exciting journey through the golden years. We lived in Flint, Michigan for the first 7 years of my life. Our large house in Flint held four families and it was in the shadow of the Buick Plant, literally one block away.
