Alberto Chimal (1970) is the author of the novels 'The Tower and the Garden' and 'Slaves', also the collections of stories 'Seven', 'The Ultimate Explorer', 'The Time Traveler', 'The Imaginary City', 'Grey' and 'Those Were the Days', among others. He has received the San Luis Potosi award and the Benem rito de America award for stories. He is a professor and a literary workshop instructor, and has written a basic narrative handbook.
