Cheney, Frank

Frank Cheney is the author of Boston's Red Line: Bridging the Charles from Alewife to Braintree, and co-author of When Boston Rode the El, Trolleys under the Hub, and Boston in Motion, in Arcadia Publishing's transportation history series. Cheney, a transportation historian and collector, helped save many of the photographs in Boston's Blue Line from ending up in the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority dumpster.
